Common name. Australian Tree Fern
Botanical name. Cyathea cooperi
Description. The Australian Tree Fern is very particular with its conditions. Heavy frosts may kill the fronds, but plants recover quickly. The plant prefers protected, shady moist conditions but can be grown in sunny areas. It does not do as well in full sun as when grown in shade and must be well watered. Grows to 15m high.

Description. The Cinnamon Tree Fern is very adaptable to a wide range of climates and soils. Prefers a shady location, however will tolerate full sun if well watered. Has cinnamon coloured bark, grows multiple long crowns and is a dwarf fern tree. Grows to 2m high.
